Chipolopolo Boys forward Patson Daka is a top target for Spanish La Liga side Villarreal Club de Fútbol, S.A.D (Villarreal CF).
According to reports in Spain the Zambian international is close to joining the Castellón based outfit.
The Zambian striker’s contract expires in June 2026 and he is represented by the same agency as Tárrega, Ugrinic, Pepelu and Cömert.
The Kafue Celtic product has played 122 games for Patson Daka scoring 23 goals and providing 14 assists.
Daka became the fifth Zambian to join an English side in June, 2021 when he moved to Leicestershire from Austrian Bundesliga side, Redbull Salzburg.
Daka scored 68 goals and registered 27 assists in 125 games for the Austrian giants winning four league titles, three Austrian cup titles, and one UEFA Youth League title.
He was prolific for Salzburg, scoring 34 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions in his last season, including 27 in 28 league games to help Salzburg to the Austrian title.
