Patson Daka and Leicester City back in England after a week-long training camp in Abu Dhabi

Chipolopolo forward Patson Daka and Leicester City teammates on Saturday completed their one week training camp in  Abu Dhabi.

The Foxes flew to Abu Dhabi last Sunday for a week-long warm weather training camp during the FIFA World Cup winter break, switching from rainy Seagrave for the blistering United Arab Emirates sun.

After a week of tough but unique training the Foxes headed back to Seagrave yesterday to continue their preparations for the resumption of the English Premier League season later this month.

Daka is looking to get into good shape for the second round of the 2022/2023 English Premier League season which resumes this month after the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

The 2015/16 Premier League Champions were without seven players who are and/or were taking part in the World Cup including leading goalscorer and playmaker James Madison hence Brendan Rogers traveled with a mixture of first team and Academy youngsters.

The end goal of City’s warm weather training camp was to prepare themselves for the rigours of the league and cup back in England.

They will hope to add to a spell of six wins across nine matches in all competitions when the Foxes travel to MK Dons in the Carabao Cup Fourth Round on Tuesday 20 December.

The Zambian international has scored three goals and assisted two in 14 appearances so far this season.
