Cosafa Under-20 2019 Championship Player of the tournament Patrick ‘Bomber’ Banda is expected to arrive in the country on Tuesday.
The 17 year old box to box was in Spain where he spent 8 days at second tier side C.D. Numancia attending trials.
“We were impressed with the boy both on and off the pitch. Technically he is a very good player. The youth team coaches were surprised with the talent,” a ZamFoot crew source in Spain said.
“The President (for Numancia) was away and when he returns he will definately get the report and a decision will be made on whether to open talks with Nkana or not,” a ZamFoot source added
Gondwe caught the eye at the Cosafa Championship in Lusaka and helped Zambia to glory.
Though he is yet to make his debut for Nkana, he is highly regarded in Wusakile after a string of impressive performances for the Billy Mwanza coached young Nkana in the third tier.
