Serious team. Us we don’t even knw if perfoming players like jacob nd mbesuma will b recalled.
Our players should not take Kenya has underdogs……….. but they should prepare adequately.
I don’t mean to sound like I’m underrating them but four unattached players, two from the poor ZPL and players from Finland and Malaysia…..Except for the two players plying their trade in Belgium and the explosive Wanyama from the Saints, I’m not sure that on paper this is a team to cause anybody any shivers. That said we should not underrate them nevertheless.
I hope chicken George realises that he cannot rely on the inexperience of players like Daka to take us to Afcon. The core of the team should be around six experienced players then the rest can be a juggle.
I sat to watch the finals in my apartment in 2012 with an English friend who never gave us a chance to CIV!! Team spirit is all that matters…
Here here. We are in no state to call anyone weak. It’s like we are playing Germany in their backyard.
I will assure you that ,that player by the name Paul Were might be unattached but is a very dangerous player,he formerly played for Amazulu and is currently registered with Gor mahia but can’t play competitively for the club due to lack of ITC FROM SAFA.He is the one who scored in Congo.Lets wait for the match then talk later.
On paper we are stronger .. On the pitch history also favor us..
On paper we are stronger .. On the pitch history also favor us..their is nothing to fear. Make or break encounter.
Unfortunately we have a coach who’s tactically poor and poor in team selection. U will see the likes of Jackson Mwanza bouncing back even when the player has let us down a 100times. Poor finishing..
@ Big Steve, Kenya has improved, looking @ how they played against Congo, we need to assemble a strong squad. They have selected their best players. Remember Zambia playing away is another challenge. Why can’t FAZ unveil the new coach? Chicken does not have any stress, he knows FAZ is looking for a new coach.
Zambia striker Emmanuel Mayuka is still going to Russia but not to Spartak Moscow. According to the UK Daily Mail, the Southampton reject who is not in Ronald Koeman’s’ plans for the 2015/2016 season is heading to Krylia Sovetov. “Southampton striker Emmanuel Mayuka is joining FC Krylia Sovetov Samara in the Russian Premier League. The 24-year-old Zambian international signed in 2012 but has failed to make an impression and had a loan spell with Sochaux in 2013-14,” The Daily mail reports.
The more is moving up and down the more is likely to shorten is career..
Is it a bigclub???? Anywaz I wish him the best of luck as he joins the russian club
Kalaba should not be played on the wing but should be given a free role in middle, upfront deploy Jacob mulenga to partner singuluma.
Singuluma is not a striker mwebantu. This guy is a midfielder.
Too many unattached players on this team, I hope the coach knows what he’s doing .
Unattached players in the national Team of Kenya? are those players part time farmers or Military men.Why will a serious football nation assemble players who do not play for any club.
We have seen that in our own country
guys zambia is beter team than kenya, just compere the two team thy is big diferent betwn them, away zambia is good, zambia 2 kenya 1.bissau 1 congo 1.this time kalengo must start 4 kampamba u cal striker.
even if there unattached players kenya is being coached by a qualified coach he now what is doing, only 11 players starts the game & 3 sabustute can came in. 2 me its a strong squad.
u are buisy underating kenya but failed we 2 beat guinea bissau at our home ground, if u dont know the scotishman [bobby williamson] u wil know him at nyayo stadium. he hold the red devils of congo brazzaville coached by the frenchman claude le roye, in point noire.
lwandamina cant win the game in kenya, he cost us 2 points against guinea bissau becoz of his poor tactics of the game. usless coach.
if we lose in kenya then we wil be out in 2017 afcon qualifier, & if we wil mantain lwandamina as a coach then we shud also expect to be eliminated by the sudanese in 2018 w/cup qualifier.
The way some bloggers blog, awe sure mwe. I am mauless.
It is simple.
If you can’t beat Kenya in these qualifiers then why go to the AFCON finals? what are you going to do there and who are you going to beat there?
Kenya is good at athletics and may have improved in Soccer but haven’t arrived still.
We are former Champions and lets for once believe in ourselves.
Believing in yourself and underrating your opponents are not the same thing. At the end of the day, it will come down to preparation and tactics which have been our Achilles heel in qualifiers. Last time we played Kenya on their turf, we lost 1-0 and only managed to qualify due to a penalty shootout.
Do not underrate this team; we can win, but trust that George will have to have a strong game plan and our players should not walk in with the idea that these Kenyans are walkovers.
Kasam Boy, well said. If Zambia cant beat teams lke Guinea Bissau and Kenya then why qualify? If Zambia is struggling to beat such mnnows then let us stick to Cosafa.
black stars will have a feild day with chipolopolo should we meet
Bob Williamson is a very tactically sound Coach. We should remember him during his time with Uganda where the cranes lost by 1-0 at Mwana was a stadium and they won by a similar margin in Kampala and it had to take Kennedy Mweene’s brilliance to save us that embarrassment of failing to defend the cup in SA.
We need some reinforcement in our team.
@ Positive thinking, I believe you are talking about Uganda and not Kenya. I believe you are referring to the game alluded to by Amuna Onzuna. Bobby Williams was their coach then.
Yes we cannot underrate any teams you only underrate a team after beating it, and not before.
There is still football in Zamia, what we lack are just adequate preparations and proper management.
The Kenyan team doesn’t look like a team that would beat Zambia in both legs ,am so optimistic our team will emerge top .
WE CAN BEAT KENYA GUYS DONT WORRY.
