Oladele, Chisha, and Haatembo join Prison Leopards

Former Buildcon duo of midfielders Gerald Chisha and Wilmore Haatembo Jr have joined Kabwe based Zambia Super League outfit, Prison Leopards.

The duo becomes the second and third signings for the Collect Boys after the acquisition of Zachariah Chilongoshi. The duo has penned two-year deals.

“Former Buildcon Attacking midfielder Gerald Chisha has joined Prison Leopards FC on a two-year deal.

Chisha 25, was once in the books of Lumwana Radiants, Forest Rangers, and Gomes FC.
He becomes the second new signee to be officially unveiled by the club. Management is confident that the coming of Chisha will add more value to the club.”

Prison Leopards Football Club is delighted to announce the acquisition of the services of Wilmore Haatembo on a two-year’s contract. The enterprising Attacking midfielder has switched from Buildcon to Prison Leopards.

Haatembo Jr is happy to join the Albert Kachinga tutored outfit and believes he has joined a very ambitious club.

“I am very happy to be part of the Leopards family and I feel very humbled for the good reception from my new teammates. I have joined a very ambitious club and it has energized my morale because of the quality of players and their abilities to perform as a team to achieve the prospects of the club,” Haatembo told PLFC MEDIA.

Leopards have also acquired the services of striker Solomon Oladele on a two-year deal

“Prison Leopards Football Club is pleased to officially unveil another new signing in striker Solomon Oladele. The Nigerian-born topman has penned down a 2 years contract that will keep him at the Kabwe based Superleague side until July 2023.

Before joining Prison Leopards, Solomon played for Green Mamba FC.

Green Mamba is a soccer team based in Manzini- Matsapha, Eswatini, it’s sponsored by Eswatini Correctional Services. The 30-year-old forward was also once in the books of Denver Sundowns.”

Leopards have also made additions to their technical bench with Humphrey Malikoni and 2012 AFCON winner Joseph Musonda.

Saviour Konkola has also returned to Kabwe two years after leaving the Collect Boys for ZESCO United, an unsuccessful loan spell.

The team has also arrived safely in Mongu for seven days of pre-season camping.

Head coach Albert Kachinga named a 36-member squad comprising of new and old players who have traveled to Mongu for a training camp in readiness for the 2021/2022 season.

  1. At times you must consider experience emanates from the old horses to lead the new kids on the platform.
    For example the Legendary musician Oliver Mtukudzi had his band group Black Spirits for more than 40 years but kept the band name & he used to recruit young generation to back up his group & old horses to keep on the wheels of the musik industry turning.
