The Chipolopolo Boys will take on Lesotho this afternoon for a second time in three days as they look to boost their chances of qualifying to the Africa Cup of Nations.
Coach Avram Grant started his reign as Chipolopolo boss with a win at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Thursday and will hope to continue on the trajectory.
Sekhukhune United goal minder Toaster Nsabata was given the nod ahead of Forest Rangers goalkeeper Allan Chibwe and Lawrence Mulenga of Power Dynamos.
However 33 minutes into the match, Nsabata made a blunder that saw the Likuena take the lead after he failed to deal with a Tsoarelo Bereng long range free kick.
With Nsabata almost in tears, Patson Daka and Emmanuel Banda went to comfort their former Nchanga Rangers teammate.
It will be interesting to see what Grant will decide this afternoon regarding the goalkeeping department and whether Nsabata will maintain his place.
Lawrence Mulenga had been in fine form in the local league and is believed by many as the next best locally based goal minder.
Mulenga however has very limited National Team experience and maybe the stage may be a big leap for now.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that Grant still firmly believes in Nsabata and his capabilities as Zambia’s number 1.
Chibwe who was Zambia’s goalkeeper at the 2021 African Nations Championships (CHAN) tournament is also available for selection.
The Forest Rangers man last played for Chipolopolo two years ago when he came off the bench to replace Cyril Mwenya Chibwe in the 2-0 win over Zimbabwe away in Harare.
Meanwhile the team had their final training session at Dobsonville Stadium in South Africa yesterday.
The Chipolopolo tackle the Likuena of Lesotho in the reverse fixture after their 3-1 triumph in Ndola on Thursday.
The match kicks off at 15:00 hours and will be live on ZNBC and SuperSport.

Toaster and Mwenya are prone to absolute shockers.
Try Mulenga then Alan .
