Not winning games is putting Chikwanda under pressure

Napsa Stars coach Elijah Chikwanda admitted being under pressure after his side suffered a third straight loss.

The former City of Lusaka boss believes its normal for a team that is not doing to be under pressure so that they work hard to change that.

” When you are not winning games you have to be under pressure . You have to work hard so that you register a win,” He said.

Chikwanda is concerned with the early goals his team has been allowing which he attributed to lack of concentration.

” Our players are lacking concentration, we are allowing first half goals which is a danger to the team,” He said

” Yes we have to work on our finish and stop allowing early goals,” He added.

Chikwanda is however hopeful of a better next game after an impressive performance against the defending champions Zesco United.

” This performance against the defending champions, It shows that our next game should be positive,” He said.

  1. I fully agree with Mr. Chikwanda. I watched their game against Zesco and I was impressed especially by the competitive effort of the team in aspect such as possession, attacking, etc. The team will definitely inflict pain on some fellow Super Division teams when least expected. They just need a composed striker
