No Zambian referee has made it on the list of selected for next year’s African Cup of Nations course.
According to a list released by Confederations of African Football, CAF, there’s a total of 32 referees and 33 assistant referees scheduled to undergo training.
Only two have been shortlisted as VAR officials.
With Janny Sikazwe retired, Zambia will have to wait for representation.
The African Cup of Nations will take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024 in Ivory Coast.
The Chipolopolo Boys will be in Ivory Coast next year after making a return to Africa’s biggest football showpiece.
