Top Zambian journalist Alex Basopo has taken a swipe at Trident for sacking head coach Israel Mwanza.
Mwanza, a former Nchanga Rangers defender was sacked by the Kalumbila based club for what they termed as ‘poor string of results.’
Trident drew 1-1 with Kansanshi Dynamos before suffering a 2-1 defeat to Kabwe Warriors.
Mwanza’s final match was a 2-0 defeat to Zanaco.

“Trident Football Club has not invested in serious players.
“Most of their players are tired. Most of their players are madalas and you expect a coach to deliver.
“Clubs must stop putting unnecessary pressure on coaches.
“Coaches must stay away from clubs such as Trident. Let the Exco themselves coach their clubs
