Nkwazi thump Nkana as Eagles edge Kansanshi Dynamos

High Flying Nkwazi  continued their newly found fine form as they  trashed Nkana 3-1 to make it two wins in a row.

With a lot of banter between the 13 time Zambia Super League Champions and the Zambia Police sponsored outfit,  a lot was expected from this match and it did not disappoint, producing four goals.

Goals from Isaac Ngoma, Brian Masanyinga and Peter Mwangaani gave Nkwazi a comfortable 3-0 lead.

Lameck Kafwaya pulled a goal back in the dying minutes but it was a little too late as Nkwazi carried the day and moved to 5th place with 16 points.

Nkana remain second from bottom with just six points after 10 rounds of matches.

Elsewhere, Green Eagles edged Kansanshi Dynamos 2-0 thanks to goals from  Amity Shamende and Freddy Michaels.

  1. The Nkana coach should drop that Congolese centre forward, there’s nothing he’s doing in the team. He’s a big liability. So much so that instead of playing 11 players on the pitch for Nkana there are practically 10 players, and that gives the opposition team a numerical advantage. Then scoring and defending becomes a big challenge for Nkana. Let the coach look at the nursery team of Nkana, he could find a promising young centre forward there. Wish Nkana FC and the die hard Nkana fans a better 23/24 season.
