Nkwazi scored in each half to beat Namungo 2-0 in a friendly match played at Lusaka’s Edwin Imboela Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Former Zambia Under-20 defender Crawford Mwaba scored in the 35th minute to give the Zambian side a lead.
Andrew Mupande then increased the scores to 2-0 to seal the victory for the Dennis Makinka coached side.
Namungo exerted pressure on Nkwazi but the defenders stood their ground.
The Tanzanian are drilled by former Zambia coach Honour Janza.
They are expected to play their second match on Saturday against Green Buffaloes.
