Sports Minister Elvis Nkandu has tasked the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) to employ a new Copper Queens coach.
Mr. Nkandu said it is unacceptable to have a coach whose attachment to the team is divided while seeking employment elsewhere.
He says FAZ should appoint either local or expatriate coaches who will fully commit their services to both the Copper Queens and the Chipolopolo technical benches.
Speaking to ZNBC Sports News in an interview as he bade farewell ahead of the dissolution of Parliament this Friday, Mr. Nkandu expressed satisfaction with the progress sport has made during his tenure, adding that there should be continuity even as he leaves office.
He has since thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for the support rendered to the Ministry.
