Record aleague champions Nkana FC have completed the transfer of Chipolopolo defender Christopher Munthali from arch rivals Power Dynamos.
Munthali who was named Power Dynamo’s player of the year 2015 returns to Nkana stadium where he played on loan until the last year and had some of his best career days.
Nkana also announced permanent moves for Jacob Ngulube (attacking midfieder) from Damiano Academy, Aubrey Chamulwanda (holding midfielder) from Nchanga Rangers and Kelvin Malunga (goalkeeper) from Roan United.
The Mopani Copper Mine sponsored side has also signed on permanent basis some players who were on loan and these include; Diego Apanena (left back), Fred Tshimenga (striker) and Kapota Kayawe (central defender).
On the technical bench, former Chipolopolo midfield maestro Gift Kampamba has bounced back as second assistant to join head coach Aggrey Chiyangi and Zeddy Saileti. He swaps positions with Fidelis Chungu who moves to the junior team. Kampamba was demoted to the junior team after a string of poor performances which were attributed to lack of cohesion on the technical bench.
Other additions to the technical bench include Kennedy Kalale as goalkeeper coach, Mehul Baniya is physiotherapist while Charles Chakatazya is team manager.
ba chris has always been red in yellow
He don’t know where he belongs.
I very much agree with you he’s lost. And signing a new contract with another club now means if another chance arrives from a club abroad after CHAN it won’t be easy for him to move..
Ba team mana
ger ka!
wishing chris & Nkana fc all de best
