Nkana break into top four, Lusaka Dynamos and Green Buffaloes share spoils

12 time Super league champions Nkana have leapfrogged Lusaka Dynamos to move into the top four after beating Nkwazi 2 nil at Chilata.

Goals from Ronald Kampamba and Diego Apanane were enough to take Nkana back into the top four. Nkana are now only 5 points short of log leaders Sensational Zanaco.

Log leaders Zanaco welcomed struggling Real Nakonde at Sunset Stadium in a battle two teams with different ambitions, One fighting for the title while the other fighting to survive relegation.

Congolese striker Heritier Nkoko and former Forest Rangers hit man Felix Nyaende scored a goal each to keep Zanaco at the top of the log .

The biggest game of the day was obviously the match between Green Buffaloes and Lusaka Dynamos and for the hype the game failed to produce any goals.

Both teams failed to create many clear cut chances and in the end settled for a goalless draw.

Kabwe Warriors continued with their winning form this time around they beat City of Lusaka away in Lusaka. Lameck Kafwaya scored the only goal of the game in the 7th minute. He has now scored two goals in as many games.

In Chililabombwe, Red Arrows fought back from a goal down to beat Konkola Blades 2-1. Stanley Nshimbi and Festus Mbewe scored in the second half yo hand the air men an away victory.

Nchanga Rangers battle for survival keeps getting better, Zikuru Adams’ 54th minute strike was enough to hand the team from Chingola three points.

Forest Rangers and Green Eagles forced away draws against Nakambala Leopards and Mufurila wanderers respectively.
