The MTN/FAZ super league week 32 league matches continue today with Green Buffaloes vs Lusaka Dynamos headlining the fixtures. Another interesting fixture is Nkana hosting Nkwazi who welcome back coach Albert Mphande after his three weeks leave came to an end.
On Tuesday, 24th October Zesco United were held to a one all draw by Power Dynamos while Napsa Stars beat Lumwana Radiants away in Solwezi. Zesco United were aiming to go top of the log but a late fight back by Power Dynamos and a Ng’onga goal made sure that did not happen.
GREEN BUFFALOES VS LUSAKA DYNAMOS
Both teams are coming from losses and want to quickly bounce back to winning ways . A win by green Buffaloes will take to the summit of table provided Real Nakonde does them some favours, if not they will have to make due with second place.
Lusaka Dynamos on the other hand, will join Zesco United and their opponents on 56 points should they beat them. This one is promising to be a great encounter with both teams still fighting to win the league.
NKANA VS NKWAZI
Fresh from a one nil derby win Nkana would like to keep their good run going but they face a stubborn Nkwazi keen on bouncing back to winning ways after that shocking loss to Nchanga Rangers.
Nkana will be banking on home advantage and the return of two time golden boot winner Ronald Kampamba to help them get an edge over Nkwazi in this match. Nkwazi on the other hand have also welcomed coach Mphande which is a boost for them.
Nkwazi run away with a victory in the reverse fixture as Justin Shonga scored a brace with Walter Bwalya getting a consolation goal for Nkana.
ZANACO VS REAL NAKONDE
Log leaders Sensational Zanaco will host relegation threatened Real Nakonde at Sunset Stadium. The two teams have two different fortunes awaiting them, One fighting to win the league while the other is fighting to stay in the super league.
Zanaco are favourites and are playing at home but teams fighting relegation are not the easiest to beat this time if the season.
MUFURILA WANDERERS VS GREEN EAGLES
Both teams are facing a possibility of relegation and want to secure top flight football for next season. Wanderers are the ones in immediate danger as they already in relegation zone.
Eagles will be facing Justin Chinama for the first time since he was fired from his post at Eagles.
Eagles are coming from a loss while Mighty drew with Red Arrows. It is a match that can go either way.
KONKOLA BLADES VS RED ARROWS
Blades suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of Forest Rangers and being at home they will do anything possible to get maximum points as relegation is looming for the team from Chililabombwe.
Their opponents Red Arrows on the other hand are not facing relegation but Coach Honor Janza wants to finish strong and will be relishing an away win.
CITY OF LUSAKA VS KABWE WARRIORS
City of Lusaka are stuck bottom of the log but last weekend managed their third win of the season and maybe just maybe it’s time for the team from Chilenje to record another win.
Their opponents non other than Kabwe Warriors a team that Green Buffaloes on Sunday and are temporarily out of the relegation zone something they would like to keep going and a win will make sure their progress continues.
NAKAMBALA LEOPARDS VS FOREST RANGERS
Nakambala have over the years prided themselves in making their home a fortress and they are coming into this match on the back of an impressive away draw at Buildcon.
They face Forest Rangers who beat Konkola Blades over the weekend and are motivated. This is one of those matches that can go either way.
- NCHANGA RANGERS VS BUILDCON
Rangers are bubbling with confidence after their two nil win over Nkwazi and want to keep their journey towards surviving relegation going.
Buildcon come into this match on the back of a draw but have enough quality to hurt Rangers even in Chingola. It will be an interesting fixture and sparks are guaranteed.
