Zambia’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup, NAPSA Stars this morning jetted into Moroni, Comoros ahead of Sunday’s CAF Confederations Cup Preliminary Round first leg match against Ngazi Sport.
The Pensioners arrived at 9;45 hours in Comoros aboard a chartered flight and the team is lodged at Golden Tulip Hotel.
Head coach Mohammed Fathi says his team is okay with the weather and ready for Sunday’s game. The Egyptian-born gaffer revealed that the morale in camp is high and the team is targeting a positive result.
“This weather is similar to Solwezi and Mongu, we are very much okay and just focusing on the game. Nothing is going to stop us from having a good game on Sunday,” he said.
” No injuries, we are okay. We are ready for the game and mentally focused. The morale in camp is high and we have come with a very positive mind,” he added.
The team held a recovery session this afternoon at Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh and will hold their official training session at the match venue, Stade Omnisports de Malouzini, tomorrow.
Napsa Stars and Ngazi Sport will square off in a CAF Confederation Preliminary Round first leg match on Sunday at 15:00hrs.
