Napsa Stars striker Emmanuel Mayuka says if coach Fathi gives him time to play in Comoros Islands in the CAF Confederation Cup he will do what he does best.
Mayuka returns to the Islandic nation nine years after his last visit with the national team that saw him net a late winner in the 2-1 2012 AFCON qualifier at the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh in 2011.
The 2012 AFCON winner says the Pensioners are in Comoros for a win and will do their best to get a win on Sunday.
Expect Emmanuel Mayuka to do what Emmanuel Mayuka does best
“The feeling is quite good and just looking forward to the game on Sunday. We are here to win for sure. I offer some experience because I have played at the highest level and am still here, I hope can be a good addition to the team so that we can be able to win the game and go back home with all three points,” he said.
” I have been before, nine years ago with the National team, so I know this place a little better than the guys, we will take the game as it comes and we will do our best to win it.”
“To the team, it’s about hard work, nothing comes easy in life you just have to keep pushing and most important put God first in everything,” he added.
The Pensioners jetted into Moroni, Comoros this morning ahead of Sunday’s CAF Confederations Cup Preliminary Round first leg match against Ngazi Sport set for 15:00hrs at the Stade Omnisports de Malouzini.
That’s the Yuka 20 we know
We hope to see the best.
