NAPSA Stars have continued their fine current form as they edged Nkwazi to seal their third straight win.
The MTN Super League week 19 action concluded on Sunday afternoon with a Mutapa brothers affair as Oswald’s Nkwazi welcomed Perry’s NAPSA Stars at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
A first half strike was enough to earn NAPSA Stars maximum points.
Defender Fredrick ‘Fletcher’ Mwimanzi headed in a Simon Nkhata free kick in the 29th minute to open the scores with a goal that proved to be the match winner.
Former NAPSA Stars captain Dickson Chapa was named as the player of the match.
The win takes NAPSA Stars to 6th place with 27 points, five shy of Green Buffaloes in second place.
Nkwazi on the other hand remain stuck in 17th place with 18 points.
