NAPSA Stars and MUZA continue to soar, Big win for Forest as Power blanks again

NAPSA Stars and FC MUZA continued their fine form as they recorded their fourth and third straight wins in a row.

The MTN Super League entered week 20 of action on Saturday with seven games providing entertainment for the fans across the nation.

Sunset Stadium hosted a double header as Green Buffaloes welcomed Nchanga Rangers while Zanaco played host to Nkana.

In the early kick off, Buffaloes and the Chingola based outfit played to a goalless draw.

The second game was the one that provided the fans with a lot of excitement as it ended up as a five goal thriller, ZANACO edging Nkana 3-2.

Francis Mustafa’s goal was a pick of the bunch but Bob Chansa who netted a brace and Abraham Siankombo scored fine strikes as well.

In Chambishi, FC MUZA recorded their third straight win as they edged the hosts 2-1.

A goal each from Emmanuel Manda and Andrew Phiri gave the Lameck Banda coached side maximum points with Eddy Sinyangwe netting a consolation goal for Chambishi who have now lost all their last three games.

At the National Heroes Stadium, Musonda Kapembwa scored the only goal of the game as NAPSA Stars recorded a narrow one nil win over Lumwana Radiants.

The weekend however belonged to Forest Rangers as they thrashed their town rivals Buildcon 5-0.

A brace from Quadri Kola and Moyela Wisdom Libamba plus a goal from Moro Amenu helped Fole Malembe to a comprehensive 5-0 derby win.

Log leaders Power Dynamos recorded their third straight draw and failed to find the back of the net for the second week running playing to a barren draw with Green Eagles at Arthur Davies Stadium.

Kansanshi Dynamos played to a goalless draw with defending Champions, Red Arrows.
