Alex Namazaba’s three match ultimatum started off on a good note as Green Eagles returned to winning ways.
Elsewhere Power Dynamos and NAPSA Stars recorded home wins.
Week seven of the MTN Super League continued on Sunday with four matches but all the eyes were on the Green Eagles v Forest Rangers tie as Alex Namazaba started his three match ultimatum.
The Choma based outfit responded in spectacular fashion as they came from a goal down to beat Forest Rangers 2-1 thanks to a Freddy Michael brace after Jack Chirwa had put the visitors in the lead.
The win is Eagles first in four matches and sees them move to 12th place on the log table with eight points.
Elsewhere, Salulani Phiri scored a brace as Power Dynamos came from a goal down to beat Kansanshi Dynamos.
Marvin Jere put the Mabanga Boys in the lead while Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale also scored for Power.
At Woodlands Stadium, NAPSA Stars returned to winning ways as they edged Mutondo Stars 3-2 thanks to goals from Musonda Kapembwa, Zikiru Adams and Simon Nkhata.
Osmond Chita and Charlie Sichilimba scored for Evergreen Mutondo Stars.
At Edwin Imboela Stadium,Peter Mwangeni scored from the penalty spot to cancel out Francis Mustafa’s opener and make sure Nkwazi and Zanaco shared the spoils.
