Copper Queens goalkeeper Hazel Natasha Nali is off to her base in Turkey after a break following her heroics in Morocco helping the Zambia Women’s National team to bronze at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
She will join her club Fatih Vatan Spor Kulubu in pre-season ahead of the 2022/23 football season.
The former Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club shot stopper left Lusaka this afternoon and she is expected to arrive at her base in the early hours of tomorrow.
Nali kept three clean sheets out of the five matches that she was involved in conceding just a goal.
Nali also scored the decisive spot-kick in the penalty-shootout win over Senegal in the WAFCON quarter-finals in Morocco to send the Copper Queens to the the 2023 World Cup which will take place in Australia and New Zealand.
