Midfielder Enock Mwepu came off the bench to help Brighton & Hove Albion earn a point against Chelsea in an English Premier League match against Chelsea on Wednesday night.
Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku gave Chelsea the lead in the 28th minute with the Zambian on the bench after his man of the match performance over the weekend against Brentford.
Still trailing Chelsea, Brighton coach Graham Potter introduced Mwepu for Tariq Lamptey in the 66th minute.
In their 120-year history, Brighton had never scored a goal at London’s Stamford Bridge and it looked like that record who continue as the clock ticked.
Mwepu combined with left back Marc Cucurella, who sent in a cross and Danny Welbeck powered home a stoppage time header to cancel out Lukaku’s opener.
The 23 year old Zambian has now made has now made 10 league appearances with 6 of those coming in as stats.
He has also scored 1 goal in the league.
