The all-round approach to football development by FAZ has delivered yet another milestone with Green Buffaloes Women Football Club coach Beauty Mwamba completing a high-level CAF Instructors coach that brought together coaches from various parts of Africa in Rabat, Morocco.
Mwamba who recently got her CAF A coaching badge alongside Yanga Princesses coach Charles Haalubono and Enala Phiri-Simbeye took part in the 8-day course that begun on 18 October in Rabat.
She said the course was vital as it brought her up to speed with the modern trends in the game such as how to create a suitable ad learning environment for both players and coaches.
āThe knowledge which I have gained from the course is meant to be shared to other coaches so that we can improve the level of football in our country, the region and in Africa. The use of modern technology like video analysis was also emphasised and this is what we need to promote in our game,ā Mwamba said.
Mwamba is a regular as Technical Study Group (TSG) member at COSAFA tournaments and recently took part in the COSAFA Zonal Instructors Course that paved way for her participation at the continental course.
āI can say FAZ has played a very big role in my development as a coach and instructor is 2008. They have been there throughout the journey. I would also like to thank my ever-supportive club Green Buffaloes for investing in my coaching career and always allowing me to attend different courses,ā Mwamba said.
āI would like to thank COSAFA and CAF for according me this opportunity to be trained as an instructor. It was through the COSAFA Zonal Instructors course which was held in Johannesburg in 2020 that I was identified to come and attend the course (in Rabat).ā
