Zambia Super League newcomers Maestro United Zambia Football Club (FC MUZA) has confirmed the acquisition of several players ahead of the 2022/2023 season.
Top of the list is former Lusaka Dynamos duo of goalkeeper Monga Ndala and defender Eric Kabulo Ngoyi. The club took to social media to confirm the development.
“Maestro United Zambia Football Club (F.C MUZA) is pleased to announce the acquisition of nine players to beef up the squad for the 2022/2023 soccer season.
The club has acquired the services of defender, Eric Kabulo from AS Simba (Congo DR), goalkeeper Monga Ndala from AS Vita (Congo DR), striker Ndongola- Ignace Reagan from F.C Blessing (Congo DR) and goalkeeper William Mtonga, from Lusaka Dynamos.”
The club has also recalled midfielder Emmanuel Habasimbi from Prison Leopards and strikers Emmanuel Manda and Kenani Phiri from Zanaco and Napsa Stars respectively.
In addition the club has promoted striker Albert Chifusa and midfielder Emmanuel “Turner” Mayungano from Young MUZA.
Meanwhile the club has loaned out Daniel Chewe, Welcome Mulenga, Eden Daka, Christopher Nakalinda, Cedric Mayunga and Mathews Sichoone.
F. C MUZA will be competing in the MTN/FAZ Super league, the Lamack Banda coached side will commence the 2022/2023 MTN/FAZ super league campaign at Home against Green Buffaloes on 20th August 2022.
