Zambian duo of striker Mwape Musonda and winger Austin Muwowo will wear jersey number 20 and 40 respectively at their new club Swallows FC.
Muwowo, who had been starved of game-time at Pirates over the last two seasons joined the Dube Birds on a season-long loan deal at Swallows from Pirates and will be swearing jersey for the 2021/2022 DSTV Premiership season.
While Mwape who is fondly remembered for his exploits in the 2018/19 season with Black Leopards, where he scooped the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award with 16 strikes in 28 games, joined the Dube Birds after unsuccessful stints in the United Arab Emirates with Hatta Club and Saudi Arabia with Al-Sahel. Musonda, 30 has been handed jersey number 20.
The club confirmed the jersey numbers for the 2021/2022 season in a post on their official Twitter account monitored by the ZamFoot Crew.

The duo may make their debut for the Dube Birds this weekend when they get their 2021/22 campaign underway as they face Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates in an MTN quarter-final at the Orlando Stadium.
