Power Dynamos head coach Perry Mutapa described his teams 1-0 win over Napsa Stars as a tough game.
Speaking to the ZamFoot Crew after the match Mutapa said they restricted Napsa Stars star players to long-range efforts as they knew they could hurt them if given chance.
Mutapa was however disappointed with the number of chances his team missed in the match.
“Tough game, I think we restricted Napsa Stars to long-range shots which were good for us. We knew that Silanvwe (Danny), Bornwell (Mwape) and Sikombe (Collins) If we gave them a chance they were going to hurt us,” he said.
“We did well not let them make those runs into the box. We had a lot of clear cut chances but we could not score, 1-0 happy with the result but not the scoreline.”
” The only secret is to work hard. We are working very hard, The guys are playing good football, following instructions and doing what we are learning in training. We are happy to beat Napsa which is the in-form team,” he added.
Powerful Power Dynamos were victorious over the Pensioners thanks to a first-half own goal. The win puts Power in 7th place with 23 points after playing 14 games.
The win for Power means Mutapa remains unbeaten as Power Dynamos coach since his arrival at Arthur Davies Stadium.
