Mutapa and Masauso Tembo to be unveiled at Power dynamos today

Following their resignation from Forest Rangers Football Club yesterday, former Zambian international and Orlando Pirates Midfielder Perry Mutapa and his, at Forest Rangers, assistant Masautso Tembo are expected to be unveiled as the Head coach and Assistant coach for Power Dynamos Football Club later today.

The duo shockingly tendered in their resignation letters at Forest Rangers yesterday which were accepted by management to put an end to their two-year reign at the helm of Fole Malembe.

Next-Gen sports agency who are the representatives of the duo has confirmed the development. Next-Gen took to Facebook to confirm the development.

“We are proud to announce that after successful talks with the board at Power Dynamos Football Club, we have reached an agreement for our clients Mr. Perry Mutapa and Mr. Masautso Tembo to join the Club on a 2-year Contract effective 26th November 2019.

The former will head the coaching bench, whilst the latter will be one of the assistants.”

The Agency went on to thank Forest Rangers for the time the duo spent at the club.

“We wish to thank Forest Rangers Football Club for the time our clients spent. We are indebted to them for the opportunity and the platform to build on. We wish the Players (whom our clients share a strong bond with) and the fans the very best of success.”

Mutapa served at Forest Rangers for 2 seasons, has been a constant hurdle for Power Dynamos during that period as well.

Power Dynamos yesterday parted ways with Head coach Gaston Mutobo who took the club through a torrid run ending up on 13th place with only 11 points in 10 matches.
