Mufulira Wanderers have completed the signing of former Zambia national team striker Alex “Bazo” Ngonga on a short-term contract as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
The club confirmed the acquisition on Wednesday, with the experienced forward joining the 2024 ABSA Cup winners as a free agent following his departure from ZESCO United.
Ngonga brings considerable experience to Shinde Stadium, having previously featured for several prominent clubs, including Power Dynamos, Nkana FC, DR Congo giants TP Mazembe and Lebanese outfit Tadamon Sour SC.
The former Chipolopolo forward is expected to add experience and depth to the Mighty squad as they seek to improve their fortunes in the MTN Super League Transitional Season.
“Abena Milambo” will be hoping Ngonga can make an immediate impact as they welcome the striker to their green and white colours.
The club has wished the forward success as he begins a new chapter at Shinde Stadium.
