Zambian duo of striker Moses Phiri and midfielder Clatous Chota Chama have continued to shine in Tanzania.
Phiri netted a brace while Chama chipped in with a goal and an assist to seal a 3-0 win for Wekundu Wa Msimbazi.
Simba SC traveled to Coastal Union in week 15 of the Tanzania NBC Premier League.
Phiri opened the scoring in the 53rd minute with a fine finish after being set up by Clatous Chota Chama with a beautiful pass. Phiri doubled the lead in the 61st minute from the penalty spot.
Chama sealed the result with a close range finish in the 89th minute as Simba SC cruised to a 3-0 win.
The win temporarily sends Simba SC to the summit with 34 points, two more than rivals Young Africans who have played two games less.
Phiri has now scored 15 goals in all Competitions, 10 in the league and 5 in the CAF Champions League.
