Zambia international Miguel Changa Chaiwa played the full 90 minutes as Hibernian secured a stunning 2-1 victory over Rangers at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
Hibernian took an early lead through Scottish midfielder Josh Campbell, who converted from the penalty spot in the 12th minute.
Rangers piled on the pressure and were eventually rewarded in the 85th minute when Chaiwa inadvertently turned the ball into his own net to restore parity.
However, the Zambian quickly made amends in stoppage time, producing a pinpoint long ball in the build-up to substitute Callum Wright’s 93rd-minute winner.
The victory gives Hibernian their first league points of the season after opening their campaign with a 2-1 defeat to Motherwell.
Rangers, meanwhile, remain without a league win after drawing 1-1 with Dundee United on matchweek one.
Chaiwa’s performances in Scotland will be encouraging for Zambia, with the versatile midfielder expected to be crucial for the Chipolopolo in their upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Algeria and Togo in September/October 2026.
