The Super League today comes back into action with rescheduled fixtures which will be played across the country through Friday.
Champions and leaders Zesco United will host third placed Power Dynamos in a game Zesco could be crowned champions for a second consecutive time if they win and second placed Zanaco lose.
Power on the other hand cannot afford to lose if they are to keep ambitions of wrestling the title off the Ndola side.
Power have shown that they are desperate for a good result against a consistent Zesco side and showed this by refusing to release the four players called to the national team for the Egypt friendly stating that the players will be flown to Lusaka after the game this afternoon a decision which has not gone too well with the national team managers.
Power are currently 9 points behind Zesco who have 60 points.
Second placed Zanaco will be keenly waiting for the result between the two power utility companies when they play away against Nkwazi. Whichever way the results goes in the electric derby, it will work to their advantage if they win in either catching up with Zesco in the title race or at least putting some day light between them and Power in the chase for a spot in Africa.
