Chipolopolo Boys coach Micho has indicated that he is likely to add three players from ‘The Rest,’ squad.
“Out of respect for the players and my technical bench, I won’t name the three players but you can speculate,’ the under fire Serbian coach said during a post-match post match interview.
“Our squad needs a target man and an experienced defender.
With that background, Zanaco target man Rodgers Kola is set to be named in the final squad ahead of Power Dynamos’ Alex ‘Bazo’ Ng’onga, who had a poor game.
In defence it’s between Zesco United pair Adrian Chama and Clement Mwape, scorer of the goal for Wedson Nyirenda’s men.
Man of the match Spencer Sautu is likely to be on the plane to Cameroon after he tormented the CHAN Squad.
Many Chipolopolo faithful will also be pushing for Nkana’s Harrison Newa Chisala who impressed in the middle of the squad.
Micho is set to announce his final squad on Wednesday.

I’m a Zambian resident in uk and my UK born 17year son plays football looking to develop into professional football. He’s played for a few premier league club academies as a tribalist. Now he’s doing sports education and playing for Gordon Strachan academy. He and me have discussed if he would like to play for Zambia instead of England and he seems to entertain the idea. I’m now seeking to know how I can proceed on this. First I would like him to start training with the junior national squad when they meet for an international game, from there play some friendly internationals and take it from there. He can play for u17, u18 up to 20.

Mr Mulenga, why not? Why cant a 17 year young man out in England feature for our youth team? Your sentiments are very backward. The father has suggested let’s give the boy a chance that’s all, given the std of football in UK. A good example is Kalunga who was based in Denmark. He went direct into the U20 and played a pivotal in the team. Please dont be a wet blanket!
