Chipolopolo striker Collins Mbesuma on Friday evening scored for his club Highlands Park when they beat Chippa United 2 – 0 in the 2016 Telekom Knock out last 16.
Gordon Igesund who was set to be named Chipolopolo coach until the government turned down the FAZ proposal took charge of Highlands for the first time since his appointment.
Igesund named Mbesuma in the starting XI deploying him just behind the main striker in the number ‘ten’ role.
The PSL 2015/2016 top scorer was on target in the 12th minute when he reacted first to a rebound to slam home in a congested area.
Highlands Park then parked the bus but were still able to find a second in the 76th minute.
Mbesuma played 75 minutes of the game.
This was his fourth goal in the 2016/2016 campaign.
