Chipolopolo coach George Lwandamina has named his squad that will face Kenya in the Gabon 2017 Africa Cup qualifier formality match.
Lwandamina has named 8 foreign based players in his squad which has seen Israel based Emmanuel Mbola return to the squad after over a year but there is no place for South Africa PSL top scorer Collins Mbesuma who was arguably been Zambia’s best player in the qualifiers and Mamelodi Sundowns keeper Kennedy Mweene.
There is also a first time call up for Kaizer Chiefs striker Lewins Macha to the team while Zesco United striker Jackson Mwanza also makes a return to the squad after some inspiring performances in the CAF Champions league.
Chisamba Lungu who said he has quit the national team after being left on the bench in the loss to Guinea Bissau has been summoned for the game.
There is a surprise call up for AFCON 2012 gold medal winning midfielder Felix Katongo in a team in a team that has 6 players for the Zesco United squad.

i do not understand why chicken has decided to leave out the likes of Mbesuma. Is there any tangible explanations as to why he dropped him? Bane lets call spade a spade, Mbesuma presently has been the best striker in Zambia and why dropping him?
