The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has reprimanded Chipolopolo caretaker coach George Lwandamina for his unbecoming behavior towards match officials.
According to a letter to Zesco United from FAZ, the FA has stated that the Zesco United coach undermines the referees and boasts to them about his status.
“He has been caught on camera boasting about his status and that referees get peanuts and he can pay them,” the letter authored by Referees Manager Katongo Kabungo stated.
“Whether your head coach is able to pay the referees or not is at the moment not in the established structure of payment for referees and therefore is taken as an insult….,” Kabungo added.
The Times of Zambia also reported that their Sports reporter was verbally abused by ‘Chicken’ when he hurled unprintables at him ahead if his team’s CAF champions league tie against Wydad Casablanca of Morocco.
Lwandamina has successfully led Zesco United to the semi finals of the 2016 CAF Champions league and his team is on course to defend the league title.
He is showing high element of illiteracy. Chicken must think above board.

@ Prince: No,point of correction; The coach that punched a fun during an interview was the late Fighton Simukonda. Infact it was a slap. The fan was busy teasing the coach in the process of an interview.
Prince is right it was george lwandamina a recorded interview at the old independence stadium it was on African soccer show in 2005/06

This coach is an idiot together with kamanga who is keeping him.he failed to qualify us to them AFCON on top of that he is boasting chikalachakwe .

I knew that he wil be big headed headles chicken he can even boast managing two teams and taking zesco as far as semifinals awe mwandi.
