Collins Mbesuma was back on the score sheet when he scored the lone goal for Mpumalanga Black Aces in their 1 – 0 home win over Chippa United.
‘King David’ who turns 32 on Wednesday celebrated his birthday early with a 47th minute goal after he tapped home a cross from Kobola.
This was his 11th goal of the season which helped Aces move into second position.
He was substituted in the 80th minute after putting up an impressive performance for his team.
On Friday night, Mwape Musonda played the entire match but could not help his club Golden Arrows win as they went down 1 – 0 to Ajax Cape Town.
Kennedy Mweene did not make the bench as Mamelodi Sundowns held on to top position on the log when they won 3 – 1 on the road against Maritzburg United.
Davies Nkausu is back in full form and completed the entire game in defense for Free State Stars in their 1 – 0 loss to Supersport United.
This was Nkausu’s third game for Free State since he moved to the club this month.

I think george lwadimina should make jacob banda the first choice goalkeeper at the senior national team because he has prove it at chan while kennedy mweene is just warming the bench at his club.let’s stop playing names we need active players not just names
Well done Collins. We proud of u. As forkennedy, he shld just come back and join local league.
Pliz zamfoot update us on all z plays i mean our pro
When is zambia playing congo in afcon qualifiers
Well done Mbesuma. My problem is always seeing him substituted in almost every game . The future for Zambian football and strikers in particular is not in this man. Kangwa, Kampamba, Luchanga etc are!!! We will enjoy the sparks while they last
You keep your best players fit, when he is substitutes it means the coach thinks about the next match not him being injured wrong judgement by chocho
Diminishing Energy levels Stevo. Years are passing.
