Zambia’s export to South Africa Collins Mbesuma yesterday emerged as the Golden Boot winner in the Absa Premiership.
Despite failing to score in the last game against Free State Stars, his 14 goals were enough to see him stay on top of the scorers chart one ahead of his closest challenger.
Mbesuma, 32, has made history as the only player in the history of the PSL to win the the prize twice having won the prize first in the 2004/2005 season when he played for Kaizer Chiefs.
The Chipolopolo striker now has 97 goals in South Africa.
He is expected to join the Zambia national team this week in preparation for the Guinea Bissau game to be played on 4th June.
