Mazembe dumped out of club world cup

TP Mazembe slumped to a 3 – 0 loss to Sanfrecce Hiroshima to fall out of the Club World Cup at the quarter final stage.

Coach Patrice Carteron named Given Singuluma and Nathan Sinkala in the starting line-up while Rainford Kalaba and Kabaso Chongo started on the bench but the African Champions were overrun in midfield and looked out of sorts in the game.

Siguluma was the first to be substituted with Mazembe down by a goal in the 46th minute but the cohesion didnt seem to improve and Carteron was forced to withdraw Sinkala for Kalaba in the 63rd minute with the team already two goals down.

Sanfrecce were to add a third in the 80th minute.

Mazembe will play one more game at the competition on Wednesday against Club America of Mexico who lost 2 – 1 Guangzhou Evergrande of China.

  1. Just because Kalaba started on the bench you call the coach useless?I thought each game goes with the tactics the coach is employing and most importantly how each player is responding in training before a specific game.

  2. Im also shocked at the statement “Hopeless coach” like really??????

This is the same coach whose tactics took TP Mazembe to the summit of African club football, winning it and crowned them the best in Africa for 2014/2015 and today he is useless…..shoooooo!!!! some comments could give you a headache.

wow Guangzhou Evergrande of China beat the legendary Club America!!!!!! ati Kung fu football blah blah blah!!!!!!kikikiki

  3. Mazembe are cheats, teams from Egypt ,Tunisia, S.Africa could surely have performed better. Africa is falling behind because of hostile clubs like mazembe who take Africa backwards.
