Zambian striker Emmanuel Mayuka has been called to the Zamalek squad that is currently participating in the Arab Club Championship ahead of tomorrows game against Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia.
The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winner was left out of the team that is participating in the competition in Alexandria amidst speculation of his exit from the club.
He got a lifeline after Hossam Paulo sustained an injury and had to drop out of the team.
The 26 year old is however not expected to play any part in the final group game of the Arab Club Championship but should be shaping up for the semi final game on Wednesday should Zamalek qualify.
He will also be looking to claim a place in the team that will play in the semi final of the Egyptian Cup on 9th August against Al Masry who finished 4th on the log, one place behind Zamalek.
Zamalek drew against FUS Rabat of Morocco in the first game before losing to Al Ahed of Lebanon in the Arab Cup.

so ninshi tabamuchita offload??
They are jerking him around jbs. A player of his calibre can not be sitting around waiting for left overs when we all know what he is capable producing. They have made him fat but we can reduce him to the required fitness paka bwali ! He needs to be playing and this is what they have not been affording him. Mayuka is a talent. Even he himself need to pull up to the required level of fitness. Thats why i find it irrational not to call such a player even to the last COSAFA when he has time to play. We ca also contribute to his conditioning with such opportunities !
So mayuka is still at this useless club come on mayuka leave this club otherwise your performance will keep on going down
Mayuka needs to be professional. ….its his duty to lose weight and gain fitness…..They are still paying him after all…..hid failure to succeed at even Zamalek shows why he failed in Europe…..no discipline ….even to maintain his own body
Give mwaiche a chance…he is coming through slowly but surely:)
