The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Disciplinary Committee has handed NAPSA Stars head coach Perry Mutapa a three match ban.
Mutapa’s ban comes after his match fixing allegations against Mazabuka based side, FC MUZA back in February during a National Division One week 23 clash.
“What is losing in Zambian football? especially here. We heard it is always unfair for visiting teams and today we have seen it for ourselves,” Mutapa said.
Chipo Sondashi’s 47th minute goal through a powerful header connected from a Mwiya Mwiya free kick delivery was enough to hand MUZA victory.
Mutapa’s ban began over the weekend and as he was nowhere near the dugout at the Heroes National Stadium as the Pensioners edged Green Eagles 2-1 to record their first win of the season.
To complete his ban Mutapa will miss Saturday’s week five match against Power Dynamos in Kitwe and the round six fixture against MUZA in Lusaka on September 28.
