MTN Super League side Green Eagles have won the race to acquire the signature of goalkeeper Mangani ‘Gigi’ Banda, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Banda will join the Kawale Boys, the ZamFoot Crew have learned. His proposed move to ZESCO United broke down.
The former Zambia U20 goalminder will join the Perry Mutapa coached side. The Kawale Boys were the first to express interest in Mangani and they have finally managed to seal the deal.
ZESCO United and NAPSA Stars were interested in securing his services but it’s Eagles who have won the race.
He is expected to pen a two year deal with the Choma based outfit from the Magnificent People’s team, Kabwe Warriors
Banda was named MTN Super League Goalkeeper of the Year after an outstanding season with Kabwe Warriors in which he managed to keep 17 clean sheets.
