Lwandamina, Maki confident of qualification to quarter finals

After a barren draw at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Tuesday afternoon both Zesco United and Club Desportivo 1 de Agosto coaches have remained positives of their chances of qualifying to the quarter finals of the CAF Champions League from group D.

Zesco United boss, George Lwandamina believes the prospects of the team progressing to the quarter finals are still there as they have three more games to play.

“Prospects are still there, We still have three games to play and going by the performance of the boys am sure it’s not everyday that we will fail to convert chances,” Lwandamina said.

His counter part Zoran Maki believes they have an edge to qualify as they play their next two matches at home which they make sure to win before travelling to face Etoile du Sahel away in Tunisia.

” We have a great chance of qualifying to the quarter finals because we play our next two matches at home and we will make sure we win both games before traveling to Tunisia to face Etoile Du Sahel, ” Maki said.

Zesco travel to Angola to face Agosto on 27th July 2018 at the 11 de Novembro Stadium in Luanda.
