Zambia national team interim coach George Lwandamina has shed light on the criteria used in selecting the squad set to face Argentina later this month.
The Chipolopolo are scheduled to take on the South American giants on March 31 in what promises to be a high-profile international friendly.
Speaking on squad selection, Lwandamina emphasized experience and proven performance as key factors behind the players chosen for the trip.
“Those who are going to Argentina are those who have been tested, those who have been playing in the national team,” Lwandamina said.

Lwandamina also revealed that performances in recent continental competitions were taken into account when finalizing the squad.
“And those who are doing well in the continental games. So those are the players that we’ve picked from,” he added.
