Zambia defender Lushomo Mweemba named the Woman of the Match following her impressive performance in the Copper Queens’ quarter final triumph over Senegal.
The Green Buffaloes defender put up a solid performance to help Zambia advance to the semi finals of Morocco 2022 Women’s African Cup of Nations.
Zambia also became their first African country to qualify to the next’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.
Lushomo, who missed a penalty in the 4-2 shootout was also named in Best XI of the Group Stage together with skipper Grace Chanda.
Zambia will now wait for the Thursday’s winner between South Africa and Tunisia.
