Green Buffaloes beefs up their technical bench with an AFCON winner

Zambian Super League side Green Buffaloes are set to announce their new technical bench, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.

According to the ZamFoot Crew insiders at Arakan Barracks, African Cup of Nations winner Felix ‘Jet Li’ Katongo headlines the new changes on their technical bench.

The experienced Zambian legend was until recently in-charge of Young Buffaloes. Katongo will be the new physical trainer

Felix played for Buffaloes before proffesional stints in Angola, South Africa, Libya and France.

He also featured for Zambia at five African Cup of Nations – 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013.

He was arguably the best player for Zambia at the 2008 AFCON under Patrick Phiri and helped him secure a move to Frence Ligue 1 side Rennes.

Australia Mweemba will drop down and be the first assistant.

Meanwhile the team are expected to leave for Mbala on Thursday to prepare for the 2022/23 Zambian Super League season.
