Zambian Super League side, Lusaka Dynamos have dispelled rumors circulating on social media that the club is for sale.
According to a press statement by the club’s media and public relations officer Rebecca Mumba availed to the ZamFoot Crew
“Lusaka Dynamos Football Club would like to dismiss as fake the rumors circulating on social media platforms that the club is currently on sale.
Therefore we would like to appeal to bloggers, the media and members of the general public to verify any information regarding the club through the club PR before publishing any information concerning the club’s affairs.”
The team became a big deal in 2017 when they brought in big names like Ghanian defender Lee Addy, Nigerian Abawuah, Chipolopolo midfield ace Clatous Chama, Winger Fwayo Tembo , Chris Mugalu among others.
But it seems they are going through a financial struggle with a number of players leaving the club and some taking the club to FIFA over unpaid dues like Malawian, Madalitso Sailesi.
Lusaka Dynamos are currently 17th on the Super League table with 16 points from 18 games.
