Azam FC reached the final of the 2022 Mapinduzi Cup after beating Young Africans (Yanga) in the semi finals on Monday.
And the Azam will now face giants Simba in Thursday’s final. Simba beat Honour Janza’s Namungo in the other semi final.

Congolese forward Idriss Mbombo was given the nod to start upfront ahead of Rodger Kola.
In the second half, Kola and his compatriot Paul Katema were introduced.

The ended in a goalless stalemate and Azam won 9-8 on post match penalties as the dumped Yanga.
