Lusaka dynamos host Prison Leopards in search of first win

Lusaka based outfit, Lusaka Dynamos will this weekend lock horns with newly promoted Kabwe based side Prisons Leopards in a Week Four match to be played at Woodlands Stadium on Saturday as they seek to collect their first maximum points of the season.

Both Lusaka Dynamos and Prison Leopards have failed to collect maximum points in their opening three matches, with the two teams siting on two points each. Earlier this week, Lusaka Dynamos suspended its entire technical team and has since replaced it with former coach Patrick Phiri, who comes in on an interim basis.

With the signings that Elite made, they will be considered favorites in this encounter and as such this might be the game that Dynamos may get the maximum points they desperately need.

Prisons are coming from a 1-all draw against Red Arrows last week and have accumulated two points from the three games. Anything for them on the road will be a bonus as they were bashed 3-0 in their first away trip in Mufulira by the legendary cup fighters Mighty Mufulira Wanderers.

Big Pa as Patrick Phiri is fondly referred to returns to familiar territory with a big squad that has the experienced safe pair of hands in Congolese goalkeeper Monga Ndala.
In defense Paul Banda has continued to impress, alongside Zimbabwean international Ocean Mushure, Dennis Dauda and Lombard Tiberius will offer some resolute defending and protection to Monga Ndala in goal.

Creativity will be anything if the Elite are to get the goals and the pack of talented players like Walters Obasi, Willy Stephenus and Moussa Lemisa will need to impress. While Mwansa Nsofwa is another option that Patrick will have at his disposal to inspire the side to get the goals and defend well.

Upfront, captain Chris Mugalu, who is yet to get a goal this season, will be vital in the hunt to get the goals. Namibian Petrus Shitembi is another promising prospect for the elite as well as red hot goal scoring machine Emmanuel Habasimbi.

Lusaka Dynamos’ substitutes bench is not short of quality with the likes of former Zanaco captain George Chilufya, also a strong candidate for a starting berth. Others who did not start in Mufulira but may other competition will be the likes of Kambo Alife, Aubrey Funga and Tardilie Ilunga

Frank Miti – Prison Leopards Head Coach travels to Lusaka with a relatively unknown squad though that could be used to their advantage with the can take their few chances in the match this weekend. Prison Leopards captain Richard Kamwengo will have the duty to motivate and ensure that his defense remain focused the entire ninety minutes.

The most likely lineup for Prison Leopards will see Langson Chisi in between the sticks. The back four will most likely remain unshuffled and maned by Richard Kamwengo, Simon Nkandu, Dwaine Nyirenda and Wallace Kakeya.

In midfield the partner Damiano Phiri and last weekend’s goal scorer Franck Banini alongside Twiza Zulu and Tshite Mweshi. Upfront Saviours Nkonkola and Charles Chomba should step up and starting scoring for the team. The match will be played at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka tomorrow at 15:00hrs.
