The MTN/FAZ Super League is getting hotter and hotter with ABSA CUP qualifications around the corner it will be interesting to see which teams finish up in the top 6 as week 17 comes.
In Lusaka on Sunday afternoon, it will be a Dynamos derby as the big buyers Lusaka Dynamos welcomes the Kitwe based outfit Power Dynamos.
Speaking to the ZAMFOOT crew in a pre-match press briefing, Lusaka Dynamos head coach Wedson Nyirenda said his team is ready for the showdown adding that the Arrival of Chabula and Sikombe will add some flavor to his side.
“We have prepared well throughout the week, before the Eagles game we prepared well and it showed in the game, the boys showed character though we were not in our pick we managed to win,” he said.
“Every player is putting on everything, the competition is very high and to crown it all we have received back Collins and Emmanuel from the CHAN team, and they have impressed us in the way they did at CHAN and they are showing some highly professional attitude in training and they are looking very good and they have sparked up some competition in the team,” He added.
With the Lusaka Dynamos new acquisition midfielder fantastic Mothusi Cooper expected to make his debut on Sunday, it will be interesting to see how the derby will go.
A win for Lusaka Dynamos will take them to 26 points which are more likely to secure them an ABSA CUP qualification while a win for Power will revive their chances of playing ABSA.
