Luka Banda targets a clean sheet against Lusaka Dynamos

Napsa Stars defender Luka Banda wants his side to keep a clean sheet when they make a short trip to Sunset Stadium to face Lusaka Dynamos in a Lusaka derby.

Luka Banda is part of coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic set up for next year’s CHAN tournament and played a big part in the recent series of friendly matches. Luka says he has learned a lot from the national team and wants to continue doing well so that he can keep his place in Micho’s squad.

“Tomorrow’s game we need to work hard and get maximum points. I need to continue doing well, I was called to the national team hence people expect me to do well every time,” he said.

“Last game I think we played well though we conceded early hence we need to work on keeping a clean sheet like last season we conceded very few goals.”

“I have a lot at the National team hence I want to continue working hard since if I don’t do well here at the club I can’t be called to the national team,” he added.

Napsa Stars and Lusaka Dynamos will square off at Sunset Stadium in one of the biggest matches of week 2 with kick-off set at 15:00.

The match will be played behind closed doors as the Football Association of Zambia is still awaiting clearance from the Ministry of Health.
